Much like the Seiko brand, in general, the SKX series is one of the most respected watches amongst watch enthusiasts and collectors. The first SKX I built with the case, was a return to form: a bare bones, classic 007, with the only other upgrade being an NH35. If you are dead-set on getting a classic, rugged, no-frills automatic Seiko dive watch in a fairly wearable size, the Seiko SKX fits the bill. Unfortunately the movement in the SKX hasn't been regulated and runs at -40 spd. It’s affordable, tough, and look manly.
